Adding an em dash with a space on either side your Leanpub book

To create an em dash in a Leanpub book, you type two hyphens in a row, like this:

--

If you wrote the following sentence in your book manuscript:

This is a paragraph--you just write.

... or this sentence, with typed spaces around the dashes:

This is a paragraph -- you just write.

...here's what the sentence would look like in your book:

If you want a space to appear on either side of the em dash in your book, you need to add "ideographic space" text characters on either side of the two hyphens.

Just copy and paste the following example with special invisible empty space characters into your manuscript:

 -- 

It will look something like this in your manuscript:

Here's what it will look like in your book:
