Wise has added requirements for payments to India.
When we make a payment, we are required to provide a "reason" for the "transfer", by selecting "an option that best describes the reason" for the "transfer". There are very few options available, and we are following the instruction based on the "best describes" guidance provided.
We are also required to provide an invoice along with the transfer. That invoice needs to be provided by the recipient, i.e. you.
So, if your account is subject to these constraints, in the future, we will need an invoice from you for every month where you are owed a royalty payment.
Please ensure that the invoice has a unique ID, comprised of only numbers and/or letters.
Please send the invoice to us via email to hello@leanpub.com by the 5th of each month, to ensure there is no delay in sending the payment.
When preparing the monthly invoice, you can see the amount that is scheduled to be paid in your account here:
If we have not received your invoice by the payment date (typically the seventh of the month, as we describe in this article), we will email you asking for an invoice. This will delay the payment slightly, however.

Please send us an invoice for "Royalties for Leanpub publisher books", clearly for the $USD amount owed.
This invoice needs to have that day's date, and a unique invoice number on it, along with your company information.
