We know refunds can be an issue for some self-published authors, who may be concerned about people buying their book, downloading it, and then getting a refund.
Our position on this sensitive subject is that our refund policy actually increases sales for authors across the platform, since it makes every purchase "safe" for readers.
With that said, we actually have a very low refund rate, and we do have measures in place to catch "refund cheats", who are quite rare!
Can I turn off or otherwise disallow refunds for my book?
No, there is no setting to turn off or disallow refunds.
