When you're writing a Leanpub book in Markua, you can "Parts".

To create a Part, you add a directive in curly braces { } above the Part name.

So, if you wanted a Part named "Part One", you would type this in your text file:

When you create a Leanpub book, we provide you with some default book content to help you get started.

Here's what the default book content looks like in a new book created in our Browser writing mode:

If you create a preview of the book now, the Table of Contents will look like this:

Now, let's go back to the Write tab, and add a Part to the beginning of the book, named "Part One":

Now if you create a new preview, you'll see "Part One" in the Table of Contents:

If you have a Custom book Theme, you can configure Part settings, like numbering etc.

If you go Part One in the book, it will look like this:

You can add a description and even an image to the Part page, like this:
