If you are writing a book in iA Writer, the instant preview you will see is very convenient, especially if you are using a lot of math.

But currently there is no Markua extension for iA Writer, sorry about that.

Now, Markua is just Markdown minus inline HTML plus extensions, so there are a couple of choices...

1. You could write the whole book in Markdown, and at the end, paste it into Leanpub and use our Browser mode, if you want to go that route. If you were using the $...$ inline formulae in iA Writer, you'd need to convert the syntax.

2. You could write in iA Writer and write in Markua, syncing with GitHub or Dropbox, and just accept that you won't get the previews for iA Writer for math. Or convert the syntax from $...$ to `...`$ after testing the formula works, when entering a complex formula. Then just focus on your writing, and occasionally generate a preview. Or set up a post-commit hook + GitHub mode, and have it trigger a preview.
