Here's why there was a delay (and why there will be going forward):

The way the Wise payments work is we send them via Wise first, and then reconcile them on Leanpub about a week later. You get the notification email from Leanpub when we do the reconciling.

The reason for the delay is that for some of the Wise money sends, it takes a number of days for the author to receive them.

So, we do the reconciling on Leanpub in a batch after all the money sends to authors are done, and after any unclaimed payments are returned to us. (We do not want to reconcile the royalties as paid on their Leanpub account, if the author does not actually get their money!)

When we reconcile the royalties, you will get the automated email from Leanpub showing what royalties were reconciled by the Wise payment.

Note that the email we send will describe the amount send in USD. This amount that we send has a very small Wise fee subtracted from it by Wise when we send it, and a currency conversion where applicable.

The Wise exchange rate is so good that you get more money via Wise than you would with PayPal, even after the Wise fee.
