Leanpub lets authors "retire" a book or course, so they can keep their Leanpub landing page, but stop selling the book or course on Leanpub.

Some authors do this because they have completed their book on Leanpub after publishing it as a work in progress, and their book has been picked up by a conventional publisher. Or, they may want to try selling their book on another platform, that requires exclusivity.

Sometimes authors come back to Leanpub after trying another platform, and they want to "unretire" their book on Leanpub, so people can buy the book on Leanpub again.

To unretire your book, go to the "Retire Your Book" page for your book here:

...making sure to replace YOUR_BOOK with your book's unique web address.

You can also find the "Retire Your Book" page on your book's "Overview" page:

To unretire your book, on the Retire Your Book page, click the "Unretire My Book" button:

Your book will now be in the "unpublished" state.

To publish your book and make it available for sale in the Leanpub bookstore again, you'll need to click the button to publish it again.
