Yes, you can "retire" a book or course, pausing sales on Leanpub, but keep your Leanpub landing page!
Leanpub lets authors "retire" a book or course, so they can keep their Leanpub landing page, but stop selling the book or course on Leanpub.
Some authors do this because they have completed their book on Leanpub after publishing it as a work in progress, and their book has been picked up by a conventional publisher. Or, they may want to try selling their book on another platform, that requires exclusivity, like Kindle Unlimited (KU).
You can retire your Leanpub book or course any time. You can also un-retire it any time, if you change your mind.
A "retired" book can no longer be purchased in the Leanpub bookstore. However, there will still be a landing page for the book or course on Leanpub, which authors sometimes want to keep, for a variety of reasons.
