My credit card purchase was declined. What can I do?

Leanpub uses third-party payments services (PayPal and Stripe) to process purchases, and we do not have any control over their decisions to accept or decline purchases.

To be clear, we do not receive any information about declined purchases.

It's possible that your credit card issuer is blocking the purchase to protect you from suspected fraud. If you want to try making a purchase on Leanpub, you may need to contact them and ask them to "whitelist" purchases from Leanpub, confirming that it really is you trying to make a legitimate purchase.

I'm trying to use a credit card from a different country from the country I live in. However, when I switch countries in the credit card form, the fields are blank and I can't complete the purchase. What can I do?
