Sometimes this happens, unfortunately. There's a lot that goes into validating a VAT number!

If you made your purchase using the "Checkout with Credit Card" button and you provided a VAT number and the VAT was still applied, here's what we recommend doing:

1. Refund the purchase. You can do this from your Leanpub Library. You can see how to get a refund on this page.

2. Make the purchase again using our "Checkout with PayPal" button. Note that you can either use a credit card or PayPal when choosing "Checkout with PayPal", and you do not need a PayPal account.

3. Enter your VAT number in our form before clicking one of the PayPal payment buttons. The VAT number should be applied correctly, and the VAT amount should be reduced to $0 if that is appropriate. You can see how to do this on this page.
