When you write a book in our GitHub or Dropbox writing modes, you will have a file called Book.txt in your manuscript folder that lists the filenames of the text files in your manuscript folder that you want to appear in your book, in the order you want them to appear in your book.

Here's a screenshot of what the folder and file structure looks like in the default new book content folder you can download from GitHub:

You can see there are two filenames in Book.txt:

Since both of these manuscript files are listed in Book.txt, both of them will be included in your book when you preview or publish a new version.

If you want to exclude a file from being included in the book, or if you want to add some notes for yourself in this file, you can comment out the line like using # like this:

...or by using % like this:
