Can I use my unpaid royalties to buy books from other authors?

You can use unpaid Leanpub royalties to get various Leanpub services, like a Sponsored Spot in one of our email newsletters, or TranslateAI or our other author services.

Using unpaid royalties on services to expand your audience and increase your books sales is a great way to potentially make your book into a profitably self-funding revenue source, essentially turning your book into its own business.

However, we currently don't offer a way to use unpaid royalties to get books from other authors, but we may someday!

If you would like to be able to use your unpaid royalties to buy books from other authors, please email the team at hello@leanpub.com to let us know you're interested in this feature.
