We currently don't have a feature that offers a kind of "advance" on a Shelf spot or any other advertising features and other services we provide for Leanpub authors, sorry.

However, we do have a similar kind of "bootstrapped book" feature, where you can use your unpaid royalties to buy Shelf spots and other services.

To get a Shelf spot for your book using unpaid royalties, go to the "Promote Your Book" page for your book here:

...making sure to replace YOUR_BOOK with your book's unique web address.

You can also find the "...." page on your book's "Overview" page:

On the Promote Your Book page, you'll see how much unpaid royalties you have available to get a Shelf spot etc.:
