Some Leanpub books show how much money is going to a good cause. How does this work?

The Leanpub for Causes program lets authors share some or all of their royalties with a participating nonprofit or charity if they choose to do so. When you buy a book that is part of the program, you'll see how much of your purchase price is going to the author's chosen cause.

If you would like to see a new cause added to the program, please contact the organization and ask them to sign up on the Causes page here: https://leanpub.com/causes.

If you scroll down the page on a book that's sharing money with a cause, you'll see a section showing the cause details, in this case the EFF (the Electronic Frontier Foundation):
