Supported Image File Formats
You can find a list of supported image formats in the Markua specification here:
The following are the image resource formats and the file extensions which choose them by default:
jpeg: JPEG image - .jpg or .jpeg
gif: GIF image - .gif
png: PNG image - .png
svg: SVG image - .svg
svgz: SVG image (zipped) - .svgz
What happens if I insert an unsupported image file into my book?
If you add an unsupported image file to a Leanpub book, like the .emf file format, for example, then it is likely that the book generation process will fail on Step 16.
