Sometimes authors experience book generation failure, where their attempt to preview or publish fails.

This is both very rare nowadays at Leanpub, and very frustrating when it does happen.

At the end of this article, we'll add a list of articles from the Help Center on how you can troubleshoot book generation failure.

But our purpose here is just to share anonymized feedback from authors about obscure causes of book generation that they have discovered themselves, or that we have discovered helping them.

I found out the hard way that the following three lines cause a book generation failure:

I.e., a line with two spaces following the "{class: part}" line part causes the failure.
