If you're book generation process appears stalled on Step 16, it is most likely that your book generation process is just taking a very long time.

This can happen if your book is very large or complex, or if you are in Dropbox mode, where syncing issues can sometimes slow things down.

So, you should just wait for a while! Sometimes it can even take more than an hour.

Here are some steps to mitigate this issue:

- Switch to GitHub or Browser writing mode (which at least should mean there will be no syncing issues to slow things down)

- When you generate previews, just generate a subset of your book that you want to test

- You can try using this trick to stop the book generation process
