How Does Page Numbering Work on the Print-Ready PDF?

Here's some information about how page numbering works in our Print-Ready PDF feature:

Centered at the bottom: This appears on chapter opening pages (the first page of each chapter). In typesetting, this is called a "dropped folio." It's placed at the bottom center so it doesn't compete with the chapter title at the top of the page.

At the top on regular pages: On all other pages, the page number appears in the header. In a typical layout, it alternates between left and right depending on whether the page is even (left/verso) or odd (right/recto).
