No, Leanpub's online courses do not have start dates or end dates.
Our courses are meant to be taken online, in your web browser, at your own pace!

The primary content of most courses will be sections of text for you to read, like in a textbook.
Courses are typically divided into "lessons", which are the course equivalent of chapters in a book.
Some courses will have accompanying videos to watch, also at your own pace.
Courses have quizzes you can take, all in your browser, that are automatically graded when you click a button to submit each quiz.
When you complete all the quizzes, you can submit the course for a final grade.
If you pass, you will get a PDF certificate of completion.
