The minimum paid price for ebooks can now be as low as 99 cents!
(You can also set the minimum price to free of course.)
How This Pricing Flexibility Helps Books In Many Languages
This change will be especially helpful for authors who publish in languages other than English, and especially those authors who use our TranslateAI and GlobalAuthor services to translate their books into up to 31 languages.
How 99 Cent Pricing Helps Genre Fiction Authors
This change will also be helpful for genre fiction authors, who often price their books between $0.99 and $2.99, regardless of language.
How the Royalties Are Calculated for Different Book Prices
Royalties will be 80% for purchases of $7.99 and up, and 80% minus 50 cents for purchases of $0.99 to $7.98.
Here's the summary of how this works:
- The minimum paid price for ebooks can now be as low as $0.99.
- The minimum paid price for ebook bundles, courses and tracks can now be as low as $7.99.
- For purchases from $7.99 and up, the royalty rate is 80%.
- For purchases from $0.99 to $7.98, the royalty rate is 80% minus 50 cents.
