No, you can't use coupons until the book is published; the way a coupon works, it's essentially a "purchase" even if it's free.

If you want to share copies with people before your book is published, your best two options are:

1. Download a copy of the book from your preview page and share that with people directly, for example as an email attachment.

2. Download a copy of the book and share it with people using a file sharing service like Dropbox. (Typically there will be a way to create a sharing download link for the book file, so you can share the download link with people.)
