On Leanpub, when you want to stop working on a book or remove a book (as opposed to "unpublishing" or "retiring" a book), we have the concept of "closing" the book.

Closing a book means it is not available on the bookstore or in the usual places in your author dashboard, and you can not work on it on Leanpub anymore.

However, if your book has been published in the past and someone has bought it (including for free), please note that closing a book will not remove it from the Leanpub library of anyone who has purchased the book (again, including free purchases).

You can find a link to this page from your book's Overview page, under Settings:

On that page, you can click the red button to close the book:
