I'm importing a Word document and I'm seeing weird text next to images! What can I do?

If you're importing a Word file into Leanpub using our Browser writing mode, you may see some strange text next to images in your PDF or EPUB files, like this:

{alt="" width="0.5569444444444445in" height="0.6777777777777778in"}

You can get rid of this by going to the Write tab for your book and deleting it manually:

You may be able to prevent this from happening by disabling "Automatically generate alt text for me" in Word:

On a Mac menu, this was under: Word > Preferences > Accessibility.

On a PC, it might be under: File > Options > Accessibility
