Leanpub authors can set up "Packages" for sale, where they include "Extra" digital files for sale along with their book, or where they sell multiple copies of their book.
Here's an example of a book with "packages" for sale:
In the past, there was no way to get a URL for a specific package. People just went to the main URL for the book landing page, for example:
Then, they had to select the package they wanted.
We have now introduced individual package links, so you can more easily promote specific packages.
The package links from the example above are:
Finding the Package URL
Every package has an "identifier" assigned to it when you set it up.
You just add ?package=IDENTIFIER
to the end of the book landing page URL to get the unique package URL.
So, the complete package URL for a book would be:
https://leanpub.com/YOUR_BOOK?package=IDENTIFIER
Finding the Package Identifier
To find the "identifier" for an existing package, go to your Packages page here:
https://leanpub.com/YOUR_BOOK/packages
...making sure to replace YOUR_BOOK with your book's unique web address.
You can also find the "Packages" page on your book's "Overview" page:
Click the "Edit" button to see the package details:
The package "Identifier" can be found near the top of the page:
OK, that's it!
