Every Leanpub book has a verso page that shows copyright and other information.

Here's what the verso page for our Sample Nonfiction Book looks like:

Note that we display a publication date near the top, which is distinct from the customizable copyright information, which is at the bottom:

The displayed publication date for all books is set according to UCT or Coordinated Universal Time.

On the Publish page for your book, you will see two timestamps for the last published version of your book: one for UTC (on the right), and one for your own timezone (on the left):
