After someone buys a book or course on Leanpub, we provide them with a number of ways to access their purchase.
First, after they complete their purchase, they are taken to a page with links to the purchase. On this page, they can also opt in to email notifications when you announce a major release of new content, if you are publishing your book or course in-progress.
Second, after they complete their purchase, they are immediately sent an email with links to the purchase, and to their Leanpub library. The links in the email always point to the purchase, so they can use the links in the email later if they want to, to download a new version of their purchase.
Third, every Leanpub purchase is added to the customer's Leanpub library:
If someone is making their first Leanpub purchase, we create an account for them, so they can always access their purchases in their library.
