Leanpub's PDF and EPUB ebook files are compatible with Kobo, so if you are not able to see the book on your Kobo device, the issue may be with your Kobo device itself.

While you are waiting for a response from their typically excellent customer support, please note that most Leanpub books are available in multiple formats, and any particular format can be viewed on multiple devices, not only Kobo.

We haven't used the following service ourselves, so we can't guarantee it will work or that it's safe, but we have heard that Kepubify can resolve Kobo issues:
