Usually this happens when an image is too big. You can try the two following solutions:

1) On the line before the line where you insert the image in your manuscript, type this:

{width=60%}

You can try other percentages as well.

2) Adjust the size of your image by making it smaller. How to do this depends on the software you are using to view and adjust your images.
