I'm going to publish my course soon. Is there an option to either set up a CNAME to a subdomain of Leanpub, or to host it on my own domain, and point it to Leanpub?
No, sorry, and for a very good reason:
We don't support hosting a course on your own domain because Leanpub is a store like Amazon, and it would be confusing to readers if they bought other books not related to you from your domain. It needs to be clear who the customer is buying from, and who is providing customer support.
So, to avoid lock-in, what we recommend doing is just having your domain redirect to your Leanpub course's landing page, and then keep using your domain name in your marketing, etc.
Is there an option for when a course gets published, to have that course hosted on a custom domain?
No, we offer no option for when a course gets published to have that course hosted on a custom domain.
