Hi! Could you give us any hint on when the next update to Tex Live 2023 will come?
Here's Peter's answer:
We’re not planning on making any meaningful changes to TeX Live 2023 in terms of books for the rest of the year.
Right now we are focused on three things
AI services
Shipping the V3 remix storefront and author app
Adding course support to Markua 030.
So, in terms of books, TeX Live 2023 should be unchanged for the rest of the year, except for any bug fixes.
In terms of courses, right now, all courses use Markua 0.1 and TeX Live 2017. When we do ship our course support for Markua 030 authors will have the option of using either TL 2017 or TL 2023 for their course support since they will be able to choose either Markua 0.1 or 0.30. So no author will have any problems with their course behavior suddenly changing; they will still be on Markua 0.1 version unless they opt into the new beta.
Finally, please note that the only version which uses TeX Live 2023 is Markua 030. Markua 0.1 and LFM are going to be stuck on TeX Live 2017 forever.
