The reason you received the verification code is that you have made a Leanpub purchase in the past, and we're trying to log you in to Leanpub so your new purchase is kept with our previous purchases.

The best thing to do in this case is to log in to Leanpub first, and then complete your purchase. That way, you don't have to deal with the verification code system.
